WHAT IS TRX?
_The Total Resistance eXercise (TRX) was developed by a former Navy SEAL. TRX is a Suspension Training bodyweight exercise, which develops strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. It requires the use of the TRX straps, made from parachutes, and is a highly portable performance-training tool that leverages gravity and the user’s body weight to complete hundreds of exercises. LINDA'S TIP OF THE WEEK
Form: Lie on your back with your legs straight out in front of you, feet flexed, arms resting at your sides or slightly under glutes to protect lower back. Exhale and raise your legs about 6 inches off of the mat. At same time, crunch up with your lower body and reach your hands out toward your feet. At midpoint of this pose, you should feel as though your mid-section is hollow. Hold this pose for as long as you can, starting with 10 seconds to 30 to nailing it for a full minute! Keep your focus on ceiling with your chin up.
